Life is better together.
Spring Small Groups launch on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Small Groups will meet between February 2nd to May 11th.
community is our pursuit
Small Groups exist to connect people with each other and to grow closer to God.
We all need each other. That’s why Legacy Church is a church of Small Groups.
What are Small Groups?
A small group is an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching.
Why should I join a Small Group?
Through Small Groups, God uses others to bring healing, support and encouragement to our lives—whether we realize we need it or not. Your small group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but care about what is happening in your life. This is the way God intended us to live our lives!
What kind of Small Groups does Legacy Church have?
Our groups are “free market”. We want people to gather together based on things they enjoy and what is important to them. Essentially, the things you are already doing in your life are the things that can make up your Small Group! From sports groups to lunch groups, parenting groups to student groups, Bible study groups to creative arts groups, our groups are as varied as we are.
How many times in the year are groups offered?
Life flows in seasons, and we want to make it easy for you to be in the right Small Group for you in each season. This is why we have new groups that start and stop three times a year in what we refer to as “semesters.” Spring Semester – January to May, Summer Semester – May to July and Fall Semester – August to November.
Who can join a Small Group?
Our hope is for every person at Legacy Church to be connected in meaningful community through a Small Group. You can search groups by topic, location, day, and time in our online Small Groups directory. Once you find a few groups that interest you, contact the leaders to learn more and make plans to check them out in person.
Who can lead a Small Group?
We believe leading a group is simple because we all have something to offer others. Whether it’s something you are passionate about, an experience you’ve had that can help others, or an area in which you are looking to grow, leading a group is a great way to bring people together in meaningful community. We do ask Small Group leaders to complete Next Steps and leader training to be equipped and informed on how to best lead your group.
